 Theatre Projects
Bath University Division for Lifelong Learning 05 & 06
Summer school week offering young people, who may face difficulties accessing Higher Education, the opportunity to experience university life. Facilitating a theatre project exploring theatre techniques, culminating in a short devised theatre piece to perform to peers.
 
Kingswood Foundation Summer School 05
Leading the theatre workshops and collaborating with artists from Circomedia and Weapons of Sound, on a week long arts project, culminating in a multi discipline performance with young people from the local area.
 
The 3 day make a play challenge 04
Young people from South Gloucestershire were offered the challenge to make up a play in just 3 days. The devised show took there audience on an interactive journey. Funded from South Gloucestershire Small grants to support opportunities for young people in rural areas to gain access to theatre projects. The work was also performed as a walkabout piece at the South Gloucestershire Engage Festival.
 
Long Term Theatre Projects
Theatre company residency in Courtney Primary School, South Glos 05/06, 06/07
Developing theatre projects and performance work throughout the school year, in order to engage young people from 3 schools in South Gloucestershire, creating new youth theatre companies, specialising in devised theatre.
Attic Fusion Youth Theatre 02-07
We also manage a Youth Theatre, for young people aged 6-21yrs living in Bristol and South Glos, promoting skills and training in theatre practice. Producing shows in a variety of theatre styles and genres, in a wide variety of venues from street theatre to the Bristol Old Vic Youth Theatre Festival.
Changes Community Performance North East Somerset 03/04
Managing and Directing the year long project community arts project, in collaboration with North East Somerset Arts, professional arts companies and locally based groups.
The project incorporated a series of theatre and production skills based workshops, which supported the production of a Multi media performance.  The performance involved real life stories and experiences of people in the local area over the last 70 years.
Issue Based Projects
The British Red Cross Community workers training day 06
We developed a training project using drama techniques, for red cross community workers in order to support them in engaging young people, to participate in Red Cross activities
 
The British Red Cross Residential weekend 06
Working with 13-18 year olds, from across the South West. We explored young people’s rights, through drama techniques. Culminating in performances devised by the young people
 
Chipping Sodbury Youth Centre South Gloucestershire 06
Facilitated a theatre project with young people aged 13-16 yrs in the youth centre, explored the ideas around the theme of peer group pressure, devising and performing work by the youth centre participants
 
Avonmouth Youth Centre Bristol 05
Facilitated a theatre project with young people aged 14-16 yrs in Avonmouth  youth centre, explored the ideas around the theme of ‘Growing up’, devising and performing work by the youth centre participants, to their peers.
 
 
South Gloucestershire Council and Youth Forum 05
This project incorporated consultation work with the young people’s forum and other youth groups. From the consultation work, we produced an interactive forum theatre workshop, three short plays devised and performed by young people, exploring issues around bullying. Performed for a peer group audience and community workers. The workshop and plays have been filmed and will be used as a resource for the South Gloucestershire Youth Service
 
Project 97 South Gloucestershire 04
We worked with the youth support organisation Project 97, facilitating a drama workshop exploring issues around stress management and coping techniques, with young people aged 13-18 yrs.
Redmaids School, Bristol 03
We facilitated a series of forum theatre workshops to explore issues around bullying and peer group pressure.
 
Film and Audio Projects
Attic Fusion Summer Film School South Gloucestershire 05 & 06
Young people from South Gloucestershire were offered the opportunity to learn and acquire skills, in order to develop and produce their own short films, from concept to a finished film.  
 
The 3 day Film Challenge Lawrence Weston 04
This included working in collaboration with Lawrence Weston Out of School Activities group. Attic Fusion focused on Devising and Directing with the young people, creating 3 original films in just 3 days
 
CD for young people who have a Visual Impairment for South Gloucestershire Council 04
Working in collaboration with South Gloucestershire Council and the Youth Service on an audio CD promoting the youth service for young people who have a visual impairment. This included consultation with the RNIB and youth club participants on their experiences of attending youth clubs. Devising and recording scripts with Attic Fusion Kingswood Youth Theatre. This is used as an audio resource for the South Gloucestershire Youth Service.
